Toute Bagai Publishing (TBP) was formed in 1999 with the launch of its flagship publication MACO Caribbean Living; a magazine dedicated to Caribbean lifestyle and architecture. The magazine was the first of its kind in concept, quality, and style, and was the first Caribbean based magazine to be retailed internationally at stores including Barnes and Noble, Borders, Chapters and WH Smith.

Over the past decade, the company has produced numerous magazines, coffee table books and has recently launched into digital media publishing websites, digital newsletters and travel portals.

In 2005, TBP launched the award-winning MACO Destinations; the first and ONLY travel magazine produced by a Caribbean company to be distributed internationally; MACO Sourcebook, and TBP’s first hard cover coffee table book, MACO Caribbean Homes, which is the epitome of what MACO has come to mean in the Caribbean – premium quality, beauty and style.

In 2009, in celebration of TBP’s 10th anniversary, the company broke new ground, launching its fourth and fifth magazine titles, M People, with island-specific editions available in Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago. During this time TBP published its first non-fiction title: the children’s publication Brown Sugar and Spice. TBP also expanded its contract publishing division to include Sandals Style, the official Sandals Resorts Lifestyle magazine. TBP has been the contract publisher for La Belle Hélene, the official in-room tourist magazine of Saint Lucia; Business Trinidad & Tobago, and the Trinidad & Tobago Energy Guide. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment of Trinidad & Tobago contracted TBP to publish the OFFICIAL trade and Investment magazine for the Government of Trinidad & Tobago. INVESTT was launched in November 2013.

MACO Caribbean Living, MACO People, M People and INVESTT are all produced as digital magazines.

TBP has entered into the new media world with the design and development of www.macocaribbean.com, an online Caribbean travel and lifestyle guide and online travel agency which was launched in November 2011. The site is the ONLY true Caribbean online travel agency (OTA), allowing users to book and purchase their Caribbean experience from a collection of the region’s finest hotels, restaurants, spas and tour operators. TBP also developed and managed content for www.sandalslifestyle.com, the Sandals lifestyle website.

Today, TBP is the largest magazine publishing house in the English-speaking Caribbean and has garnered worldwide recognition for its low-key yet distinctive style, attention to detail, and passion for the craft. The MACO brand has become the symbol of Caribbean chic, and is widely considered the authority on Caribbean travel, lifestyle, design and architecture.
